Does the AI make diagnoses?
Never — a non-negotiable rule built into every agent. The platform is an assistant for analysing medical data: it spots, cross-references and flags, sources attached, but never makes a diagnosis or prescribes. The veterinary act, clinical judgement and the decision remain entirely with the veterinarian, in line with the professional code of conduct.
How is this different from the AI scribes everyone's pitching?
A scribe stops at the note. The Digital Clinic uses the note: a clinical assistant that reads the record, one-click documents, and intelligence across every consult. The transcript is the start, not the product.
Is patient data secure?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted in the EU, and never used to train public models. You own your records and can export or delete them at any time.
Which languages does it work in?
The interface — site and app — is available in four languages: English, German, French and Swedish. Transcription, notes and documents go much further: our AI understands and produces content in 99+ languages, whatever the consultation is spoken in.

Will it fit how my clinic already works?

Is it compatible with my practice software?
Today the extension supports GmVet and Vetup: it recognises the open patient record, automatically attaches your notes to the right case, and imports existing history straight into the journal — zero double entry, no tool change. On another web-based PMS? Sign up anyway: we're happy to integrate yours, typically within a few days.
How much does it cost?
No subscription: billing based on real usage, degressive as your volume grows. If you don't use it, you pay nothing. One account covers the whole clinic, with unlimited users. The calculator in the Pricing section gives you an estimate with three sliders — and VoiceIt alone stays completely free on voiceit.vet.
Is there a free trial?
There's nothing to commit to, so there's nothing to trial. VoiceIt is the free way in: unlimited dictation on voiceit.vet, no account needed. The platform itself has no subscription — testing it on a handful of real cases costs a few euros, and a month you don't use it costs nothing.
How does the pre-consult history work?
You send the client a link — dermatology, neurology, a follow-up or simply checking in. A conversational assistant asks smart questions; they answer out loud on their phone and can attach photos (blood work, prescriptions). The structured report rejoins the record: on long consults, up to an hour of history is already done.
What about hospitalisation?
Care staff open VoiceIt from the record and dictate at the kennel side — hourly clinical exams without touching the computer. At shift change, the incoming vet simply asks the assistant: “where are we, what's been done, have the owners been called?” Continuity of care, zero lost handover.
Where do the AI agents' answers come from?
Exclusively from YOUR clinic's knowledge base: best-practice handbooks, reference books, internal protocols, pet-food catalogues. Never the open Web or forums — every answer is traceable to its source. That's our main lock against hallucinations.
Does it work without network, on the road?
Not fully offline yet — the app is cloud-based, so it needs a connection to transcribe and sync. But it's built mobile-first: open it on your phone anywhere you have signal — the kennel, the car, a farm visit — and dictate straight into the record. And for truly offline stretches there's an asynchronous route: record with any app — your phone's plain voice recorder will do — and send it to your dedicated inbox address. The moment you're back in coverage, the email goes out and our machines get to work.
